welcome, welcome!

hey guys! just wanted to welcome you all to the delta book club/small group! :) we had our first meeting this tuesday, and despite only having three pages of text to discuss (the first letter/chapter of the screwtape letters), i thought that we were off to a great start!

so... the purpose of this blog was really to just give us a chance to "talk" throughout the week, especially for those who are unable to make it to the meetings. feel free to post your thoughts on a specific passage or phrase that you read, to recommend or review any other books that you've been reading, to suggest future book club titles, or to even just update us on your interesting life! :)

the next meeting will be on monday, october 24th at 7pm in the second cup right by the UT campus. try to read as much of screwtape as you can by that date - though, with the voracious readers in this bunch, i'm sure you'll all be done by the end of this week! :p
